CCM Momentum

Posted on July 13th, 2010 by Katina »Permalink

We’ve talked a bit before about how gratifying it is to see the momentum that CCM is gaining in the marketplace – that it seems like we’re close to a tipping point, as far as people talking about CCM and really starting to grasp its potential transform the way businesses operate and manage risk.

We’re certainly encountering a lot of that at Approva. The push from customers looking for speedy, cost-effective ways to implement a CCM initiative drove us to release, just last week, Approva One On Demand, the industry’s first on-demand CCM solution.

This piece – from Smart Business St. Louis, of all places, is another indication that the CCM wave is cresting all over the place, something that smart businesses throughout the country are considering, evaluating and in many cases adopting. The piece does a good job exploring the ways that CCM can reduce risk and improve transparency and efficiency in operations, and why the idea is gaining so quickly in popularity.

And it goes a step further, talking about what a CCM program needs to have at the outset to be effective. Old-school CCM pros that we are, we weren’t a bit surprised to read their assessment that the most valuable CCM solutions are those that are configured to meet the needs of each business, that are user-friendly and that include follow-up and reporting functions within the system itself. Sounds a little bit like something we’ve seen before.
