Music Video Exclusive: Happy 5th Birthday Sarbanes-Oxley
Posted on July 12th, 2007 by Audit Trail »Permalink
We couldn’t very well have a birthday celebration and personalized song without a music video exclusive of the Singing CPA, could we? We clearly cannot get enough of the song – and the video below needs no explanation. We think it’s worth an email or IM to a friend – as everyone could use a reminder of the fateful day they turned five. Come on, admit it – you know you are going to run home and break out those old home movies of your 5th Birthday Party.

I’m sure you don’t have to be an accountant/auditor to think this was hilarious. I enjoyed it. Thanks for a great Tuesday morning laugh!!

Sorry, LMAOAuditor, but I think you definitely need to be an accountant/auditor. This was not that funny for the rest of us.

I also enjoyed this song and found lots of truth in this its humor. I must note that it truly takes a special talent to be able to fit the words “corporate malfeasance” into a such a witty ditty.

I’m not exactly sure what to make of this disgusting display. I got to this site because of a wonderful interview with one of the only 3 congressmen smart enough to vote against SOX 5 years ago. SOX is absolutely the worst piece of legislation to hit the economic community since the founding of the Federal Reserve. I can only assume from the nature of this site that you all love SOX. How typical of those who live off the blood and suffering of the regulated.
SOX has done nothing to improve business financial practices. All it has done is reduce the number of public companies the common man can invest in and discouraged foreign investment in american companies. Once again, further isolationism for our country.
Anyone who celebrates the existence of this appalling piece of legislation should have their head or their morality examined. I guess your big paychecks go a long way to covering up the shame you should be feeling over what this law has done to america. GO RON PAUL.
